Meet Our Pediatric Dentists
Deborah Pilla, DDS, PC
Dr. Deborah Pilla has been making children’s smiles brighter since 1985, when she pioneered one of New York City’s first dental practices, exclusively dedicated to children. In addition to that, Dr. Pilla was on staff at Blythedale Children’s Hospital for over seven years, expertly caring for special needs patients, and paving the way for the highly specialized care that she continues to provide at Park View Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Pilla earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with high honors at SUNY Buffalo, where her groundbreaking research in oral biology and doctoral thesis on children’s gum disease was widely received. She completed her pediatric dental residency, as Chief Resident, at Montefiore Medical Center, and an extensive pediatric dental fellowship at Columbia University for patients with special needs—providing a foundation of the highest standards, which contributes today to her trusted reputation. She also holds a New York State Conscious Sedation Certificate, is CPR certified and is compliant with Infection Control, OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
Dr. Pilla is affiliated with North Shore LIJ/Lenox Hill Hospital, where she has had operating privileges for over 20 years. She is a distinguished member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Association of Women Dentists and the New York Society of Dentistry for Children.
As a respected member of the Medical Advisory Board of the Little Baby Face Foundation, Dr. Pilla volunteers her time to consult, coordinate and perform reconstructive surgeries for children with congenital facial birth defects. In 2010 she was celebrated as the organization’s Honoree and was awarded the prestigious Telly Award for her leading role in their documentary, highlighting some heartwarming case studies. She is also the Chief Advisor of Planet Smilez, a non-profit organization that travels internationally teaching children about healthy oral education practices.
In her active home life, Dr. Pilla is a devoted wife and mother to her two sons Alex, a medical student and Max, who recently returned to New York to work in finance. In addition she provides a loving home for her dog, Wraggles. She is an advocate of health, fitness and the arts, and enthusiastically participates in numerous charity organizations.
Megan Chin, DDS
Dr. Megan Chin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Muhlenberg College and completed her dental degree with high honors from New York University College of Dentistry in 2007, where she received the American Academy of Orofacial Pain Award and was inducted into the OKU National Dental Honors Society.
She then moved to California where she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at UCLA in 2008, and worked for two years as a general practitioner in the San Francisco Bay area, serving as Managing Dentist. After treating many children, and receiving her California Oral Conscious Sedation Permit—her growing passion for pediatric dental care lead her back east to pursue her certificate as a Pediatric Dental Specialist from Stony Brook University. There she served as Chief Resident and taught undergraduate dental students during their clinical studies.
Dr. Chin is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She holds a New York State certificate in Conscious Sedation and is on staff at Lenox Hill Hospital (North Shore LIJ). She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, New York County Dental Society and the American Association of Women Dentists, she is CPR certified and is compliant with Infection Control Practices, OSHA and HIPAA regulations and is also certified in Medical Office Emergencies. Always seeking to broaden her knowledge in the dental field and foster shared learning of her specialty, she regularly attends dental study clubs and dental society events in New York City. She is the author of several internet articles on Pediatric dental issues. She has a strong commitment to community outreach and has done clinical and educational outreach locally, as well as abroad in India. Her goal is that all of her patients have a positive, fun and stress-free experience during each dental visit.
When not working, Dr. Chin embraces life on New York City’s Upper West side, where she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, friends and much loved pets. As an avid animal lover and supporter of animal rights, she regularly volunteers her time to care for animals in need with local charities like PAWS NY and New York Cares.
Ann Lambert, DDS
Dr. Ann Lambert has been a longtime associate of Dr. Pilla’s, since 1997 providing the same high standards and level of dental care to children, including those with special needs.
Dr. Lambert received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from SUNY at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and her specialty training from the acclaimed Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Montefiore Hospital.
Dr. Lambert is a respected diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She holds a New York State Conscious Sedation Certificate, performing hundreds of sedation procedures per year, along with Dr. Pilla. She is a dynamic clinical instructor at Montefiore Hospital and she is affiliated with North Shore LIJ at Lenox Hill Hospital Attending Medical Staff, Department of Otolaryngology and White Plains Medical Center. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the New York Society of Dentistry for Children and is CPR certified and is compliant with Infection Control Practices, OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
In her free time, Dr. Lambert enjoys exploring life with her husband and young daughter.

Oswald Jules, MD
Dr. Oswald Jules is a board certified pediatric anesthesiologist, another one of our highly trained staff members. He is trained to administer medications, monitor and manage sedated children while they undergo dental care.
Dr. Jules was a highly respected Fellow in Pediatric Anesthesia at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, Baltimore, MD and Chief Resident in Anesthesiology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, NY.
Dr. Jules has also honorably served as a General Medical Officer in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps, Naval Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and Department Head at Camp Johnson Branch Clinic, Jacksonville, N.C. He also served as Battalion Surgeon in the U.S. Marine Corps, Camp Lejeune, NC. Chief Resident in Anesthesiology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, NY.He received his medical degree from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City.
He is a Board Certified Diplomat of The American Board of Anesthesiology. In addition, he is an active member in both the New York State and American Society of Anesthesiologists.
In his free time, Dr. Jules enjoys traveling with his wife and his daughter.
David Zarabi, DDS
Dr. David Zarabi has been practicing orthodontics since 2001. He attended the acclaimed State University of New York at Stony Brook Dental School, where he graduated second in his class. He was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU). He also completed his three year post-graduate orthodontic residency at the SUNY Stony Brook Dental School.
Dr. Zarabi continues to further his education to stay ahead of the latest advances and technologies in the field of orthodontics. He has lectured at the Greater New York Dental Meeting and has had the distinct honor of teaching at the orthodontic program at NYU, one of the best in the country.
His commitment to providing the most advanced treatment options with traditional hands-on care, ensures that the individual needs of each patient is
met. He enjoys watching his young patients grow and mature during the duration of their orthodontic treatment, eagerly taking on the unique challenges that each case brings. He takes pride in making sure that each smile will be a perfect one.
