Park View Pediatric Dentistry (PVPD) is one of Manhattan’s first dental practices devoted exclusively to children. Founded in 1986 by Dr. Deborah Pilla, PVPD is a pioneer in the gentle dental care movement. It is also the only Manhattan pediatric dental practice with an all-female staff of dentists, registered dental hygienists and assistants — most of them mothers. Many of the challenges of pediatric dentistry relate not to technical skill, but simply in making children feel comfortable andless anxious — something the PVPD staff of  caring women do well.
