Our experienced staff is especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled especially with children, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the latest in technological advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.


Administrative Staff

Mindy, Dental Office Manager

Mindy

Mindy is our office manager and has been working in the dental field for over 10 years. She graduated from Stony Brook University with a bachelor's degree in public health, and completed her senior thesis and training at Stony Brook University on Stem Cell Research. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising at the gym and kick boxing.

Liz, Patient Coordinator

Liz

Liz, our patient coordinator, studied nursing for three years at Queensboro College. After getting married and having two children, she decided to go into the dental field, and has worked with Dr. Pilla for over 16 years! She particularly enjoys scheduling conscious sedation appointments because it gives her a chance to refer back to her nursing education. In her free time, she likes to work out, ride bikes, travel, and play board games, football and racquetball with her children and husband.

"My job is great in that I see patients through their treatment from beginning to end. I love helping children and parents understand the work they need, how to schedule it, and even if their insurance will reimburse them."


Clinical Staff

Michele, Dental Hygienist

Michele

Michele attended Bergen Community College in her home state of New Jersey before moving to Manhattan several years ago to work for Park Avenue Pediatric Dentistry. She is a Registered Dental Hygienist and has been an excellent addition to our staff. Michele is also certified in Local anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide analgesia. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling and going to the gym.

Jenny, Dental Hygienist

Jenny

Jenny, one of our talented Registered Dental Hygienists, has been working as a dental hygienist for almost 14 years, and received her AAS degree at the New York University School of Dentistry in 1994. Jenny is also certified in Local anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide analgesia. When not in the office, she enjoys being with her two wonderful daughters: Melanie and Veronica.

Anaika, Dental Hygienist

Anaika

Anaika is a registered dental hygienist with a Bachelors of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Bridgeport. She is also a member of the American Dental
Hygienist Association and is certified in Local anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide analgesia. When not in the office Anaika is finishing her children’s dental book, tutoring students in academics or enjoying the company of Taffy her dog.

 

Patty, Senior Head Dental Assistant

Patty

Patty, our senior dental assistant, received her certification at the NY County Dental Society. She is dedicated to maintaining our office to the highest level of standards. She periodically takes continuing education classes to keep us updated in infection control and equipment advancement. Patty is also certified in Basic Life Support and dental radiology. In her spare time Patty enjoys spending time with her adorable 3 year old daughter.
