Liz, Patient Coordinator / Office Manager
Often the first contact patients have with our office, Liz, our patient coordinator and office manager, has a caring and passionate attitude that exemplifies our practice’s motto “Dental Care With a Little Extra Care.” Having studied nursing for three years at Queensboro College, Liz draws upon her medical background to expertly schedule and assist families for conscious sedation and outpatient appointments at Northwell-Lenox Hill Hospital, as well as guiding them through all of our procedures. She has been in the dental field alongside Dr. Pilla for over 20 years, and is also CPR certified. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and four grandchildren and loves hopping on her bike for exercise.
Anaika, Dental Hygienist
Anaika is a Registered Dental Hygienist with a Bachelors of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Bridgeport, and is licensed in both New Jersey and New York State. She is highly trained and certified in administering local anesthesia, nitrous oxide and performing CPR. She is also trained in Medical Office Emergencies, treating children with autism and is compliant with Infection Control Practices, OSHA and HIPAA regulations. Anaika enthusiastically educates elementary school children on oral hygiene on a daily basis at Park View Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics, and she also provides instruction to children off-site during Dental Hygiene Month in February. She is the author of the delightfully motivating children’s book, “Do We Really Have To Go To The Dentist?” When not in the office, Anaika enjoys tutoring students in academics and spending time in the company of her family, friends, and dog, Taffy. She is also the owner of Proofed Perfectly, a proofreading company she started in 2013.
Jenny, Dental Hygienist
As another one of our talented Registered Dental Hygienists, Jenny has been working in this field for almost 14 years and still looks forward to bringing smiles to children’s faces when she tells them they have no cavities. She received her Associate of Applied Science degree at the New York University School of Dentistry in 1994. Jenny is certified to administer and monitor local infiltration anesthesia, nitrous oxide analgesia and CPR. She also holds a certificate of completion training in Infection Control, has completed coursework at NYU for child abuse and is trained in treating children and adults with autism. She is compliant with OSHA and HIPAA regulations. Jenny is also fluent in Russian. When not in the office, Jenny enjoys spending time with her two daughters, Melanie and Veronica.
